The Maulis family is dedicated to public ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ through street preaching, evangelism, raising banners, signs, and witnessing in public and at events, especially around our home in the Carson Valley of Nevada.

The salvation of man is the end of our gospel. Therefore we do not preach to the end of man's happiness; no, not in this life, neither in that which is to come. The Lord's salvation is not that wicked men can be eternally preserved in spite of their transgressions, but it is that men can be begotten again and made new creatures that know Jesus Christ and who glorify God by his power that works in them. This is eternal life. It was made possible by the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ. The soul whose life does not glorify God is worthless. Furthermore, it is an offense to God in treading under foot the Son of God, and counting the blood of the covenant, wherewith sanctification was made, an unholy thing, and in doing despite unto the Spirit of grace. God will rightly exact vengeance and cast that soul into the lake of fire to be burned. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.
We are the sound of the trumpet and the voice of one crying out in Nevada’s Carson Valley, “Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” We preach the everlasting gospel on Highway 395 and in the Carson Valley because God loves us, we love him, and obey him. He commanded us to preach in his name. He deserves that our lives glorify him, and we glorify him by bearing much fruit. The fruit we bear is love, and there is no greater love than we lay down our life. Unless we follow Christ and lay down, we cannot bear fruit. Our desire in this place is to see much fruit born among the towns of Gardnerville and Minden, as well as Douglas county’s other towns and neighborhoods in Nevada’s Carson Valley. Whether we are in Gardnerville, or Minden, the Gardnerville Ranchos, Genoa, or the Johnson Lane neighborhood, we declare the great joy in being reconciled to God and in having peace with God through Jesus Christ. But there is no peace to the wicked and all nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. Nevada’s Carson Valley is no exception. But if we hearken unto his word, the Lord is able to make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
We preach that God will judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ. We testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. We preach repentance and remission of sins in the name of Jesus.
We preach God’s law to those for whom it was made: sinners. By God’s law, every mouth is stopped and all become guilty before God. We preach the law to convict the conscious with the knowledge of sin, and because it is a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ.
We confront and reprove sin and sinners with God's word and law. We do not argue, contend or strive with the unrepentent who do not want to do God's will. Rather we reprove, rebuke, and exhort.
We preach the grace of God to the humble alone because: “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6
“Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the
earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye
build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all
those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and
trembleth at my word.” Isaiah 66:1-2
We give witness that through the name of Jesus whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sin, which is transgression of the law. There is none righteous, but God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. But God raised him from the dead. By him all that believe are justified from all things, for God is the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
We usually communicate the gospel from God’s very words because he said that if the prophets would have stood in his counsel and caused his people to hear his words, then they would have turned them from their wicked ways and the evil of their doing. If the situation is appropriate we will also preach the gospel using our personal testimony of salvation, because we do not follow cunningly devised fables in making known the power and coming of the Lord Jesus Christ by the eyewitness of his majesty that works in us by his resurrection from the dead.
Specifically, our conduct is ordered by the following from God's word:
“Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the
chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth
her words…” Proverbs 1:20-21
“Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the
top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the
gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. Unto you, O men,
I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.” Proverbs 8:1-4
“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their
transgression…” Isaiah 58:1
“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the
inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at
hand.” Joel 2:1
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth
it.” Habakkuk 2:2
“Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the
hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.” Isaiah 13:2
“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear,
that preach ye upon the housetops.” Matthew 10:27
In the Carson Valley, in and around Gardnerville and Minden, Nevada, the trumpet is sounding and the gospel is being published.
